Ronald J. Gaines, 44

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Ronald J. Gaines, 44, husband of Elizabeth Gaines, was accepted into heaven on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at his residence. Born in Georgetown, he was a son of Wanda Preston and the late Ronald Gaines. Ronald was a devoted husband and a loving son. Survivors other than his wife and mother are his stepfather, Phillip Preston; his stepmother, Daisy Gaines; three children, Brooke, Joseph and Elizabeth R. Gaines; five brothers, Mike Williams, Phillip Jr., Eddie Preston, Brian and Jason Gaines; a grandchild, Miley Woods, a special granny Tana Dailey, two special nephews, Donovan and Gavin; and a special cousin John Williams. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Gaines. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday. His nephews will act as pallbearers.
