J.T. (Joe) Fowler

LEXINGTON, Ky. - J.T. (Joe) Fowler, husband of loving and devoted wife, Alene Bullock Fowler passed away on March 8, 2013. Born in Cynthiana, KY on Feb. 5, 1930 to the late Earl and Georgia Hollar Fowler and he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Doyle, and two brothers, Harry and Bill Fowler. J.T. served 2 years in the U.S. Army and 3 years in the U.S. Air Force before retiring from KY Finance after 35 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister, Sue (James W) Wills, Jr., and his children, Brenda (Steven) Vaught, Debbie Pleasant, Jack Fowler and Mark (Melissa) Fowler. He is also survived by his step-children, Donald Lee Pong, Doris Pong, Joyce Pong, Andy (Pam) Bullock, Giles Bullock, Irvin Bullock, and Cyndi (David) Orlando. Mr. Fowler had 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral, Tuesday, 1:30 PM, Centenary United Methodist Church with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation, Monday, 5-8 PM, Milward-Southland.
