Hazel L. Mitchuson, 86

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Hazel L. Mitchuson, 86, passed away March 8, 2013. Born September 16, 1926 in Flemingsburg, KY, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Sudie Hamm.

Hazel was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and never met a stranger. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Lexington. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Coolidge Mitchuson; and two sisters. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Rosemary (Bill) Beverly; three sons, Ray (Rhonda) Mitchuson, Bill (Angie) Mitchuson and Marvin Mitchuson; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; lifelong friends, Freida Thompson, Nancy Bowlin, Francis Sims and Bettie Rattliff; and a host of other friends and relatives. Funeral service will be 12:00 pm Tuesday at Kerr Bros. – Main St. by Bro. Terrence Freeman and Minister Ronnie Hupp with burial to follow in Lexington Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bill Jr., Andrew and Marc Mitchuson and Steve, Jeff and Nick Mason. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, 40504
