LEXINGTON, Ky. - Raymond Carey (RC) Cranfill, 81, widower of Wanda Vanaman Cranfill, passed away Mon, Mar 11, 2013. Born in Lexington, he was the son of the late Raymond and Bernice Cranfill and step-son of the late Maurice and Jane Shnell. A graduate of the University of KY and a Korean War veteran, he retired as Vice President of the Trust Department with First Security and had served as a member of the 101 Club.
He is survived by his children, Lisa (Frank) Humphrey-Kaito, Raymond Cranfill, both of Cincinnati, OH and Michael Cranfill, Los Angeles, CA; sister, Betty Rae White, Arlington, VA and brother John Cranfill, Lexington; and grandchildren, Grace, Olivia, Hilary, Brady and Abbey.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Thurs at Milward-Southland. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 PM till service time.
