LEXINGTON, Ky. - Barbara L. Yaste, 73, wife of Vernon Yaste, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Markey Cancer Center. Born in Marion Co., KY, she was a daughter of the late Lee Ervin and Anna Raley. She was a member of David’s Fork Baptist Church where she served 30+ years as a Sunday School secretary and was very active in all aspects of the church. She was a volunteer at Bargain Box in Paris, KY.

Survivors other than her husband are four children, Lorie Yaste-Zajicek (Russ), Beckie Isaacs (Bob), Lynne Cipro (Gary), and Keith Yaste (Marie); 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four loving sisters; and a very large extended family.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Yaste.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at David’s Fork Baptist Church, 3245 Cleveland Road. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. is in charge of arrangements.
