LEXINGTON, Ky. - Larry Michael Taylor Sr., 63, loving husband of Rose, passed away April 5, 2013 with his family by his side in the Hospice Unit in Lexington, KY. He was born June 3, 1949 to the late Robert and Beulah Taylor. He was employed by Horn & Associates in Winchester, KY. Larry was an avid fisherman/hunter, and loved his dog Bo!
Larry is survived by a brother, Danny Lee (Karen) Taylor, Salvisa, KY; three sisters, Jean (Arnold) Freeman, Harrodsburg, KY, Lynn (James) Abshear, Willisburg, KY, and Theresa (Richard) Young, Lexington, KY; a son, Larry (Bud) (Sabrina) Taylor. Jr., Lawrenceburg, KY; a daughter, Christina Ware, Frankfort, KY; six grandchildren, Jordan (J.D.), Larry, III (Doo), Annalese, Quinton, Brandon and Shealey; several loving nieces and nephews; special loved ones include Auntie Dolly Dillon and Patty Filbin; a loving niece and caretaker, Amanda Rugg; and special fishing buddy, Earl Lawson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Taylor and Robert Lee Taylor.
Funeral services will be offered by Rev. William Dillon on 12 p.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Stevie Abshear, Johnny Freeman, Jimmy Freeman, David Freeman, Billy Freeman and Bud Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Rugg, Jordan Taylor, Larry M. Taylor III, Earl Lawson and Kenny Oliver. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Donations may be sent to Hospice Care of the Bluegrass.
