Nancy G. Miller

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Nancy G. Miller went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 27, 2013 after a long and courageous battle. Mrs. Miller is survived by her loving husband of 62 years- George W. Miller and three daughters; Melissa Waldrop (Robert) of South Carolina, Marsha Moore (Alan) of Georgetown, KY; Margie Rigney (David) of Georgetown, KY and one sister, Margie Carter of Lexington.

Mrs. Miller was blessed with a loving family and a host of grandchildren; Elizabeth Peden (Jimmy), David Craig (Janet), Matthew Moore (Sarah), Shelby Peel (Benjamin), Katie Logan (Chris), William Rigney, Benjamin Rigney and Lydia Rigney. Along with four great grandchildren Abigail Peden, Rosie Peden, Hunter Logan and Wyatt Logan.

Mrs. Miller left a legacy of love as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She lived her life serving the Lord and loving her family. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Lexington.

Born in Lexington, KY, Nancy was the youngest of five sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents; Thurston and Irene Graves and three sisters. Just as she lived, Mrs. Miller left this world with dignity and grace. In the face of adversity she persevered and she is now at rest with our Heavenly Father.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1st at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Main Street in Lexington, KY with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. by Rev. Greg Waltermire and interment will follow at The Lexington Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be: David Craig, Matthew Moore, William Rigney, David Rigney, Alan Moore and Robert Waldrop.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Benjamin Rigney, Benjamin Peel, Jimmy Peden, Chris Logan, Mark Alexander, Joseph Alexander, Ben Magedanz, Bryan Magedanz, Barry Ogles, Mike Botkins, Billy Berry and John Botkins.

The family suggests donations to Hospice of the Bluegrass as a loving tribute to the beautiful life of Mrs. Nancy G. Miller.
