LEXINGTON, Ky. - Lloyd Robinson, 82, widow of Ella Stevens Robinson, passed away Fri. May 3, 2013 in Jackson, KY. Born in Jackson, KY he was born Mar. 17, 1931, the son of the late John Mitchell and Bertha Thomas Robinson. Mr. Robinson was formerly of Lexington, KY where he was the owner of Lloyd Robinson & Sons Construction, specializing in masonry work and home improvement. He was also employed for 17 years as a lab tech with the University of Kentucky.
Survivors include five children, James D. (Liz) Robinson, David Michael (Kim) Robinson and Eugene (Mary) Robinson, all of Lexington, Diane (Charles) Whitley, Campbellsville, KY and Darlene (Roy) Robinson, Woodbridge, VA; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; special friend, Mary Little and five siblings.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Jean Hounshell Riley Robinson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
