Thelma N. (Toni) Horn, 92

2flowerLEXINGTON, Ky. - Thelma N. (Toni) Horn, 92, widow of William Frank Horn, passed away Fri. May 31, 2013 at Lexington Country Place. Born May 20, 1921 in Montgomery County, KY, she was one of ten children born to the late Jesse and Ella Coburn Newkirk. Mrs. Horn was a homemaker and a member of Broadway Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirlee (Richard) Holloway and Deborah (Barry) Russell, both of Lexington; one brother, Charles (Marcella) Newkirk, Wilmore, KY; two sisters, Chalma (Don) Patrick, Mt. Sterling, KY and Betty Holland, Winchester, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six siblings: four brothers, James, Earl, Gordon and Ray Newkirk; and two sisters, Hattie Bowles and Ines Wilson.

Funeral services will be 12:30 pm Mon. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Doug Piatt. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10:30 am Mon. until the service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
