LEXINGTON, Ky. - Eugene (Shorty) Webster Ingram, age 88, widower of Anna Lee Curtis Ingram, passed away Sat. at St Joseph East Hospital. He was born in Georgetown on Dec. 4, 1924 to the late John Ingram and Lillie Webster Ingram. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He retired from Taylor Tire Company, Bryan Station High School and worked as a greeter for Walmart. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
In addition to his wife survivors are his daughter, Beverly (Carl) Vice; two sons, Ronald ( Beverly) Ingram and Kevin (Lucille) Ingram; two sisters, Ann Wright and Lora Dean Hamblin; eight grandchildren, Lorie Adams, Kellie Thurman, Andy Ingram, Amy Marshall, Jason Ingram, Ashley Ingram, Jamie Golden and Dustin Golden; and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, John Edward Ingram Jr.; two sisters, Loeva Kelly and Geneva Moss; one grandchild, Shellie Kay Ingram; and one great grandchild, Faith Macy Marshall.
Funeral services will be 12:30 pm Tues. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd. with burial in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bruce Brumley, Jerry Bootze, Kendell Hunter, Joe Nichols, Don Newman, and Dennis Rice.
