Daniel Albright Long, 91

sunsetbridgeLEXINGTON, Ky. - Daniel Albright Long, 91, retired realtor and husband of Joy Vice Long, passed away Sat, June 8, 2013. Born in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late Joseph Long and Lenore Vinson Smoot. A graduate of Asbury College, he was a member of First United Methodist Church, Past President of the Lexington Board of Realtors and an Army veteran of WW II.

In addition to his wife of 29 years, he is survived by his son, Dan Long, Jr, Richmond, VA; step-children, Barbara Anne (Kenneth) Petit, Galveston, TX, Cindi (Stephen) Sullivan, Louisville and Stephen Higgins, Lexington; grandchildren, Matthew Albright Long, Sean Petit, Scott Petit, Stephanie Sullivan, Bradley Sullivan and Megan Higgins.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tues at Milward-Southland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging (www.centeronaging.uky.edu).
