Mossie M. Johnson, 87

obit19LEXINGTON, Ky. - Mossie M. Johnson, 87, widow of Raymond “Pete” Johnson, passed away June 5, 2013. Born in Lancaster, KY, she was a daughter of the late Lemmie and Ethel Harden. She was a retired math tutor and a member of Crowley First Church of the Nazarene and former member of Eastland Park Church of the Nazarene and Georgetown First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are two sons, Ralph (Laura) Johnson and Richard (Sherri) Johnson; four grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Travis (Charis) Johnson, Detrick (Autumn) Johnson and Brittany Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Casey Johnson, Felicity Johnson and Xander Johnson; a brother, Arthur B. Harden; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jo Faulkner.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. in Lexington, KY. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Georgetown, KY. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
