Marjorie H. Bastin, 82

obit17LEXINGTON, Ky. - Marjorie H. Bastin, 82, widow of Paul Edward Bastin, formerly of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Louisville, KY. She was a retired educator at Arlington Elementary School. She was born in Brown, Texas, to Napoleon and Daphne Hedges Knoles.

She received her Master degree in Education from the University of Ky and was a member of Tates Creek Christian Church and the DAR.

Surviving are her son, William “Bill” (Betty) Bastin, Louisville; a brother, John ( Joyce) Kelsey, Louisville; sister, Nancy Kelsey, Louisville and Judy (George) Hagan, Batesville, IN; grandchildren, Haley and Olivia Bastin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Milward-Southland by Rev. Brad Walden with interment in North Middletown Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:30 to 1:30 pm Saturday at Milward-Southland.
