Governor's Occupation Protection Award Ceremony

Warren Sheriffs Jacket 300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (7/3/13) - Annually, the Kentucky Governor's Highway Safety hosts a state-wide occupant protection awards ceremony. This ceremony is to honor the enforcement efforts of officers and deputies in the area of occupant protection throughout Commonwealth of Kentucky. The officers recognized at this ceremony have the highest statistics for citing motorists for not wearing their seatbelts or not utilizing child restraint devices. The officers awarded from each agency have accrued the greatest number of citations in their departments for the period of 06/11/2012 - 06/10/2013.

Warren County Sheriff's Office Deputy Joey Rice has earned the occupant protection award for the Warren County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Rice will represent the Warren County Sheriff's Office at the August 5th, 2013 ceremony at the Louisville Marriott in Louisville, Kentucky.
