LEXINGTON, Ky. - Drucilla (Drue) Parker LeMaster, wife of James G. LeMaster, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the University of Ky Medical Center. She was born July, 12 1949 in Lexington, Ky to Anthony Leete Parker and Betty Louise Sageser Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Parker and Katherine Diane Parker Petersen, and her husband’s parents, Herma Lee and James Leroy LeMaster.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Cristopher James and Preston Leete LeMaster, both of Lexington; nieces Aubrey (Stephen) Fulmer, Pittsburgh PA, Kristin Petersen (James) Hayek, Denver, CO, Amy Petersen (Jeff) Tavss, Miami, FL; brother-in-law Frank Preston (Marylou Robinson) LeMaster, Birchrunville, PA; nephews Justin James (Erica) LeMaster, Phoenix, AZ, Brennan Sol LeMaster, Boulder, CO, Alexander Douglas LeMaster, Birchrunville, PA; great nieces and nephews, Katherine Cecilia, Elizabeth Ann, John Parker Fulmer, John and Taylor Hayek, Cooper and Jaren Tavss; as well as numerous members of her husband’s family.
She was a graduate of Henry Clay High School and attended the University of Ky, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and the University Fellows Society. She lived for many years in Paris, KY where she was active as a community member, serving as president of the Bourbon County YMCA and president of the Bourbon County Garden Club. She was a University of Ky Master Gardener. She was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Lexington. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Main Street. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Paris, KY by Rev. Chris Brannock. Casket bearers are Steve Fulmer, Justin, Brennen and Alexander LeMaster, Clay List, Jaren and Cooper Tavss and Graham Thompson. Ushers will be Henry Hinkle, Bob Jones, Dick Letton, Hank List and Bob Thompson. Readers will be Bennett and Louis Prichard and Aubrey Fulmer.
