hend police arrest6 300HENDERSON, Ky. (7/8/13) – Henderson Police reported the following recent activity:

At 11 a.m. on July 3, Henderson Police and the U.S. Marshals Service issued two warrants to Jameson Meserve, 23, Henderson, after he was located at a motel in the 2000 block of U.S. Hwy. 41. Authorities said the warrants charged Meserve with Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon and Third Degree Terroristic Threatening. The warrants stem from an alleged incident on June 30 in the 1700 block of N. Green St.

Henderson Police responded to report of burglary at a concession stand in the 1000 block of Pebble Creek Dr. Authorities said items worth less than $500 were reported stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. on July 2 and 6 a.m. on July 3. Henderson Police responded to report of Third Degree Arson on July 4 at 2:33 p.m. Authorities said a woman at a residence in the 1300 block of Washington St. told them her vehicle sustained severe damage after someone allegedly set It on fire with a firework. On July at 11:10 p.m., Henderson Police responded to a report of assault at the corner of MLK and Meadow streets. Authorities said a man was taken to Methodist Hospital and later transferred to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind., for treatment of serious injuries after he was allegedly assaulted by an unknown African-American male while walking on Meadow Street. On July 5 at 2:40 p.m., Henderson Police responded to report of shoplifting at Wal-Mart on Barrett Blvd. Authorities said an employee told them “a male subject stole several items” worth more than $500. Police said they haven’t made any arrests in the investigation, which is ongoing.
