Dorothea (Nadine) Clem, 81

obit7LEXINGTON, Ky. - Dorothea (Nadine) Clem, 81, widow of Samuel Earl Clem, passed away, Wed, July 31, 2013. Born in Defiance, KY, she was the daughter of the late Caesar and Callie Martin Combs. A retired taxpayer service representative with the IRS, she was a long time member of Tates Creek Christian Church, enjoyed bird-watching, traveling, reading, and her garden.

She is survived by her children, Malinda Abbott, Lancaster, KY, Ed (Judy) Clem, Henderson, KY and Samuel (Kim) Clem, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; step-siblings Kay (Junior) Paxton, Falmouth, KY, Becky (Ralph) Johnson, Batavia, OH and Arnold Combs, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Theresa Clem, Allison Clem, Robert Abbott, Christopher Clem, Joshua Clem and Nickolas Clem.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sat at Milward-Broadway, conducted by Dr. Brad Walden. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Fri. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association.
