Donald Ray Caldwell, 91

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Donald Ray Caldwell, 91, passed away Thurs. Sept. 19, 2013. Born Oct. 2, 1921 in Williamstown, KY, he was the son of the late T. F. 'Frank' and Inez Webb Caldwell. He was a longtime resident of Northern KY before moving to Lexington. Mr. Caldwell was a retired terminal operator for Ashland Oil, and a member of Jessamine Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Adelsperger, Nicholasville, KY; one son, David R. Caldwell, Lexington; four grandchildren, Cole T. Vass, Christy (Darin) Heath, Elizabeth D. Caldwell, and Daniel F. Caldwell; step-granddaughter, Ginger (Gerry) Lammers; great grandson, Brody Alexander Heath; and two step great grandchildren, Lukas and Emily Lammers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Collins Caldwell, a brother, William T. 'Lefty' Caldwell; and a son-in-law, Paul Adelsperger. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Mon. at Kerr Brothers-Harrdosburg Rd. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
