Muhlenberg Marching Mustangs Win First in Class, Best Drum Majors at Castle High

muhl mustangs band 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (10/1/13) – The Marching Mustangs headed north Saturday where they competed in Evansville at two separate events.
 
At the Castle High Marching Invitational they received 1st in class and Best Drum Major awards. Later in the day the Mustangs competed at Evansville North as one of 26 bands in the lineup. In their class they placed third. After taking a week off for fall break, the next time the Mustangs take the field will be at Murray's Festival of Champions on October 12th.
 
Muhlenberg County High School West Campus will play host to this year's AAAAA West Regional competition on October 19th. Bands competing will include Central Hardin, Woodford County, Eastern High, Henderson County, Bullett East, North Hardin, Apollo, Grayson, Meade and the Muhlenberg Mustangs.
 
October 26th Papa John's Stadium in Louisville will host the KMEA State Championship competition.
