LEXINGTON, Ky. - Ronald Lee Million, 64, Lexington, husband of Carla Summers Million, passed away on Sun. Oct. 6, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 5, 1949 to the late Harry Clay and Thelma Ingram Million of Harrison County, KY. He graduated from Lafayette Senior High School, class 1967 and the Central KY Vocational School. A Navy veteran, Ronnie served on the USS Denver and achieved the rank of Aviation Boatswain’s Mate during the Vietnam Conflict. Ronnie was a dedicated and faithful employee at Walmart and had previously worked as a Designer Draftsman for Bell Engineering, serving there for 36 years. He was also a Ky Colonel. Ronnie was a member of Tates Creek Christian Church and had served as a deacon at Southern Acres Christian Church.
Besides his wife of 40 years, his survivors are a daughter, Loralee M. (Cliff) Planck; a son, Casey J. (Shannon) Million; granddaughters, Olivia Ellen and Melanie Grace Planck and Harper Grace Million; and a brother, Jack C. Million, all of Lexington.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wed. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Minister Tommy Simpson. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
