Wanda Martin Abrams, 87

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Wanda Martin Abrams, 87, departed from this life on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at Baptist Hospital. Born June 5, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Ayers and Kirby Wagner. She was retired from Central Baptist Hospital and a member of NHCC.

She leaves behind a special son, Jeff Sexton; three granddaughters, Terra Florence, Chellie Carroll and Tonia Stinnett; four great-grandchildren, David Loveday, Ashley Hartz, Jessica Hagger and Brittany Caroll; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray Wagner and Warren Wagner; two daughters, Sue Victor and Donna Florence; a sister, Cora Wagner; a granddaughter, Tracy Hall, and her husband, Bert Abrams Jr.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday, October 11, 2013 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Sexton, Bill Wagner, Bill Wagner Jr., Nathan Anderson, Mike Anderson, Mike Wiley Jr., Kevin Wiley, and Jim Schuller. Honorary pallbearers will be Jean Wiley, Beverly Chamberlin, Mary Short and Theressa Schuller.
