Paul E. Rector Sr., 80

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Paul E. Rector Sr., 80, husband of Maris Rector, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013. Born in LaMoure, ND, a son of the late Gillison and Pettris Rector. A retired U.S. Navy Chief (FTGC), and also retired from the LFUCG Div. of Police-Com Tech Unit. A member of First Church of God. He loved sports, especially baseball and football. He was active in coaching youth baseball and was the president of Crawford Babe Ruth.

Survivors other than his wife are a daughter, Debra (Michael) Mason, Anderson, IN; three sons, Steven Hilario, Lexington, Michael Hilario, Houstonville, KY, and Paul Rector Jr., Lexington; nine grandchildren, Courtney, Melissa, Tiffany, Brittany, Michael R., Steven D., Paul III, Emma and Caden; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday at First Church of God. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Three sons and three grandsons will be pallbearers.
