Visiting Professor from Czech Republic to Speak at Brescia

brescia 300HENDERSON, Ky. (2/21/14) – Daniela Ruzickova, visiting professor and Director of International Field Placement from the Caritas College of Social Work in Olomouc, Czech Republic, will present "Social and Political Issues in the Czech Republic Since the Fall of Communism" at an upcoming lecture.

Caritas College of Social Work is located in Olomouc, Czech Republic.

Olomouc is one of Owensboro’s Sister Cities.

Brescia University and other area schools have signed an agreement with Caritas to foster faculty and student relationships in Social Work to provide for an international experience.

The discussion will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, in the Taylor Lecture Hall on the campus of Brescia University.

The lecture is free and open to the public. The Taylor Lecture Hall is located on the main floor of the Science Building.
