WESTERN Ky. (9/2/13) – After a long stretch of high temps and extreme humidity, it looks like the Fall season is going to be sending us a much-needed break over the next week. A cold front has moved into the area. The temperature drops aren’t going to be extreme, but they are going to be sizable enough to make a difference, and the Humidity is flying south for the year.
Today, Labor Day, we will be seeing temperatures around 89 degrees with a 20 percent chance of showers and storms after 1 PM. We will be getting a calm breeze at around 6 mph. Tonight will have a low around 64 degrees and partly cloudy.
On Tuesday we will see a good temperature drop down to 81 degrees with the calm breeze remaining. The low for Tuesday night will be another major drop to 56 degrees.
On Wednesday temps will level out around 83 degrees with a low of 59 on Wednesday night.
Thursday will be at around 85 degrees with a calm wind and a low around 60 for Thursday night.
Friday will be a great start of the weekend with a lot of sunshine at around 86 degrees and 61 in the evening hours.
