J.D. Teitloff, age 87, of Murray, KY

PADUCAH, KY - J.D. Teitloff, age 87, of Murray, KY passed away at 10:55 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Teitloff was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Paducah. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant after serving his country for 23 years. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force Aid Society and the Fraternal Order of Police. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Teitloff Brennan of Columbia, MD, Ellen Teitloff Stroud of Roanoke, VA, Carol Teitloff Sanden of Sarasota, FL; sons, Jeffrey Darrell Teitloff of Murray, KY; Larry David Teitloff of Santa Monica, CA; sisters, Odetta Hughes of Paducah, Halene Teitloff of Marion, KY; brother, William Charles Teitloff of Smithland; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Harmon and Laura Hazel (Wood) Teitloff; one sister and four brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah with full Military Honors with Rev. Aaron Stamper officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to: Murray Calloway County Hospice, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071.
