Jewell Taylor Lawton, 83, of Paducah, KY

PADUCAH, Ky. - Jewell Taylor Lawton, 83, of Paducah, KY formerly of Quincy, IL, passed away at 9:48 pm Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Baptist Health-Paducah. Jewell was born December 12, 1929 in Toms Creek, VA to the late Garfield and Lille Kiser Taylor. She was a devoted member of Victory Assembly Worship Center.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Lawton; four daughters, Sandra Hall, Judy McClean and Regina Vinson all of Paducah and Vicki Catterson of Southhaven, MS; a son, Gregory Richardson of Kevil; two step sons, James Lawton and Mark Lawton both of Florida; two brothers, Robert Taylor of Palatine, IL and Wayne Taylor of Golden, IL; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Richardson; a son, Steven Richardson; two brothers, Raymond Taylor and Aubrey Taylor; and her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 1pm Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Garden Chapel with Rev. Gary DeRossett officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Garden. Visitation will be held from 10:30-12:30 Monday at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
