Velma Mae Hicks Zeilenga, age 80 of Paducah, Ky

obit7PADUCAH, Ky. - Velma Mae Hicks Zeilenga, age 80 of Paducah, Ky passed away at 12:49 AM Friday at Baptist Health- Paducah.

Mrs. Zeilenga was a retired payroll supervisor with School District #59 of Arlington Heights, IL and a member and past Manager and Treasurer of Elk Grove Credit Union in Arlington Heights. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church in Paducah, KY.

She is survived by three daughters Donna Marie Zuffrano, Countryside, IL, Jaymie Lynn Platz of Bay, AR and Roberta Sue Chappelear Szyc of Lone Oak, KY and by two step-sons Donald G. Zeilenga of Naperville, IL and Wayne A. Zeilenga of Calais, VT. She is survived by a sister, Thelma Marie Emerick of Long Beach, CA, six grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren and several step- great grandchildren.

Mrs. Zeilenga was preceded in death by her husbands, William Duane Fancher, James William Moutray, Robert Chappelear and Jack Zeilenga and by her parents, George Franklin Hicks and Flossie Turner Hicks.

Funeral services for Velma Zeilenga will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Revs. Mike Nolen and Larry Davidson officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Sunday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Glen Oak Cemetery in Hillside, IL.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Bellview Baptist Church, 4875 Old Mayfield Road, Paducah, KY 42003.
