Mildred (Millie) Wilkins, 86, of Paducah, Ky

flower03PADUCAH, Ky. - Mildred (Millie) Wilkins, 86, of Paducah, Ky passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Paducah Center.

Mildred was born in Louisville on August 29, 1926 to the late Joseph Williamson and Ella Vierling Williamson Dollries. She and her late husband, Wilbur, owned and operated “Donut Castle” on Jackson Street in Paducah for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church-Paducah and also had worked at Wal-Mart Southside-Paducah.

Surviving are her children, daughter, Marsha Orr of Paducah; and son, Charles “Chuck” Wilkins and wife Lisa of Paducah; three grandchildren, Shannon Hurt Stewart of Jackson, TN, Jason Hurt of Milan, TN, and Luke Wilkins of Paducah; five great-granddaughters, Caroline Hurt, Lynnley Hurt, Carlee Hayse Stewart, and twins Stella and Adelaide Stewart.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Wilbur Lascoe Wilkins; a brother, Joseph M. Williamson; and her parents.

Funeral services held at 2pm Sunday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Stewart Tolar officiating. Burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Garden.
