PADUCAH, Ky. - Lou Anne Henry Cherry, 85 of Paducah, Ky passed away on Tuesday, August 6, went home to be with her Lord and Savior while a resident of Gaither Suites, Paducah, KY.
She met with those gathered to the Lord’s Name at the Columbus Meeting Room in Columbus, KY.
Mrs. Cherry was a retired school teacher for McCracken County school system, a talented homemaker and taught piano lessons for many years.
Surviving her is her daughter, Sylvia Cherry Fleischauer and husband Karl Fleischauer, of West Paducah.
Her beloved husband, William “Bill” Cherry, of 56 years, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Jennie Lee Henry of Selma, Alabama; her sister, Mary Lee Austin; and three brothers, Richard Henry, Bill “Son” Henry, and Patrick Henry.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at the Columbus Belmont Park Cemetery, with Daniel McClure officiating. There will be no visitation. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
