Levada Marie McLeod, 90 of Paducah, Ky

obit16PADUCAH, Ky. - Levada Marie McLeod, 90 of Paducah, Ky passed away at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Emeritus Assisted Living in Paducah, KY.

Mrs. McLeod was a long timer member, former elder, and Sunday School teacher at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a retired rural letter carrier for Route 11 in Paducah.

She is survived by her daughters, Pam Ruffin and husband Huie of Ironton, MO, and Naomi Bryson and husband Mitch of Mason, OH; two grandchildren, Ann Bryson-Eldridge and husband Kevin of Columbia, SC, and Anthony Bryson and wife Kelsey of Eden Prairie, MN; and one great grand-daughter, McKenna Bryson of Eden Prairie, MN.

Mrs. McLeod was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin A. McLeod; and one sister, Hazel Torres. Her parents were Lewis Edward Schnell and Lena Waddill Burd.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Curtis Franklin and Rev. Jeff Biggs officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery or Building Fund, 7680 New Hope Church Road, Paducah, KY 42001.
