Richard 'Dick' W. Rosa, age 83

PADUCAH, Ky - Richard 'Dick' W. Rosa, age 83, of Reidland, formerly of Calvert City, born in Keokuk, Iowa, passed away at 10:00 pm on Wednesday September 25, 2013 at Superior Care Nursing Home in Paducah.

Mr. Rosa was a member of Reidland United Methodist Church. He was a retired Human Resources Manager for Hexcel Corp of Seguin, Tx and he also worked at National Carbide in Calvert City and Proform in Paducah. He was the Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge in Keokuk, Iowa. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Rosa is survived by his sons, Rick Rosa and wife Devona of Calvert City and Mike Rosa of Reidland; daughter-in-law, Chris Rosa of Reidland; four grandchildren, Jared Rosa and wife Maria, Lauren Bazzell and husband Micah, Chad Rosa and wife Dianna and Erica Rosa; seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan E. (Adams) Rosa. His parents were William Henry and Louise Henrietta (Mensendick) Rosa.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. David Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshal County Memory Gardens. The Rosa family will receive friends after 5:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the funeral home.
