Halloween Fest CoverCADIZ, Ky. (10/23/13) - Downtown Cadiz will host their annual Halloween Safe Night on Halloween -- Thursday, October 31 from 4pm-6pm for kids ages 12 and under. Downtown merchants will be passing out candy and treats to trick or treaters. The Cadiz Rotary Club will have apple bobbing, Food Giant will be handing out hot dogs on Albert Street, the Cadiz Police Department will be handing out safety glow bracelets at Cadiz City Hall, and there will be a costume contest at the Renaissance Square stage at 5:30pm. Main Street from Brown Street to Kentucky 139 will be closed during this time. People driving to the Safe Night are encouraged to park at the Cadiz Baptist Church, West Cadiz Park, and the city parking lots on Jefferson Street.
