Linus H. (L.H.) Ladd, 87, of Paducah, Ky and formally of Princeton

PRINCETON, Ky. - Linus H. (L.H.) Ladd, 87, of Paducah, Ky and formally of Princeton, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Superior Care Nursing Home following a long illness. He was a self employeed plumbing, heating, and cooling contractor; member of B.P.O.E. #1115 Elks Lodge; and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Ladd & wife Benita, Paducah, KY; Roy Ladd & wife Pam, Lexington, KY; one daughter, Lana Baker & husband Bill, Louisville, KY; five grandchildren, Jamey Ladd, Taylor Ladd, Logan Baker, Alison Miles, Ashlea Parks; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Lee Ladd; mother, Alma Newsom Overby; one granddaughter, Rachel Baker; and three sisters, Gwen Lewis, Rachel Horak, and Charlene Overby.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton with Mike Smith officiating. Arrangements handled by Morgan's Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Lodge #1115 Scholarship Fund, 106 Cantrell Dr. Princeton, KY 42445.
