Gerald (Joe) Turner, age 75, of Bardwell

obit3PADUCAH, KY - Gerald (Joe) Turner, age 75, of Bardwell, passed away at 10:30 am on Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home.

Mr. Turner was a member of Bardwell United Methodist Church and retired from U.P.S.

He is survived by his wife. Elizabeth (Betsy) Eckberg Turner; daughters, Rhonda Meredith and husband Lee of Paducah, Julie Samples of Bardwell; sons, Clifton (Pete) Turner and wife Edwina of Bardwell; mother, Frances (Rowe) Turner of Mayfield; brother, Steve Turner and wife Bonnie of Mayfield; twelve grandchidlren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Clifton Turner; daughter, Catherine Liane Turner; sons, Brian J. Turner, Gerald Glen Turner and David Turner; brother, Bob Turner; paternal grandparents, Orville and Edna Turner; maternal grandparents, Doane and Frances Rowe.

Funeral services for Joe Turner will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. David Fullen officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
