Houston R. Thacker, 47, Paducah, KY

 

1cloudsPADUCAH, KY - Houston R. Thacker, 47, Paducah, KY passed away Thursday at 11:27AM at the Western Baptist Hospital ER. He was a cook at Steak and Shake and a member of Shepherd Street Baptist Church in Princeton.

Thacker is survived by his spouse, Lagretta Suggs, Paducah, KY;his mother, Nellie Sims Thacker; two sons, Jeff Suggs and Joshua Hunt, both of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Laquisha Suggs, Paducah, KY; five grandsons; five brothers, Ronnie Thacker, New Jersey; Bobby Joe Thacker, Paducah, KY; Junior Thacker, Lexington, KY; Chris Thacker, Hopkinsville, KY; and Tony Thacker, Indianapolis, IN; three sisters, Carolyn Thacker, Clarksville, TN; Regina Wadlington, Princeton, KY; and Diane Wilkerson, Paducah, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Thacker was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Odell Thacker; one brother, Michael Dwayne Thacker; and one sister, Janice Renea Thacker.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton, KY. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the funeral hour Monday.

Pallbearers will be John Suggs, Anthony Jones, Leroy Grooms, Barry Copeland, Kerry Hollowell, Robert Head, and Ricky Wilson. Flower girls will be Renee Wilson, Roxie Wilson, Wanda Scott, and Laquisha Suggs.
