PADUCAH, KY - Thomas Clifton Egner, 70, of Paducah, went to be with his Lord on November 29, 2011.
A lifetime resident of Paducah, Tommy was born April 7, 1941 to the late Bennie and Ernestine Hale Egner. He retired from International Union of Operating Engineers Local #181 and was a member of Doric Masonic Lodge #737. Tommy was a longtime member of Salt and Light Community Church and had most recently attended Oaks Church of God.
He was a loving father to his children, son, Kerry Thomas Egner and daughter, Tina Egner Iervese and her husband Michael all of Paducah; adoring grandfather to grandsons, Aaron Iervese, Joshua Iervese, and Jackson Iervese all of Paducah; beloved brother to Russell Egner, Carolyn Moore, Linda Roberts, Kay Araki and Kathy Shimkus all of Paducah; and caring uncle to several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Revs. Jim Glover and Richard Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Cemetery.
