James (Jimmy) David Nichols, 38, of Paducah, KY

 

obit8PADUCAH, KY - James (Jimmy) David Nichols, 38, of Paducah, KY passed away at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Jimmy was an Operator for New Page where he was a member of the Fire and Rescue Brigade. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union #680 and was of the Baptist Faith.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Robbin Myers Nichols of Paducah, KY, son, Landon James Nichols of Paducah, KY; mother, Belinda Ann Romaine Brooks of Oscar, KY; father, Thomas Mason Nichols, Jr. of Bandana, KY; sister, Samantha Sheffer and husband Ronnie of Kevil, KY; brothers, Bear Nichols and wife Kellye of Kevil, KY and Michael Nichols and wife Cassie of Cunningham, KY; grandmother, Kathleen Romaine of LaCenter, KY; nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James “Jim” Romaine.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Ryan Baker officiating. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Landon Nichols Education Fund c/o Paducah Bank, 2635 Lone Oak Rd.
