Norma D. Lynn, 78, of Paducah, KY

 

PADUCAH, KY - Norma D. Lynn, 78, of Paducah, KY passed away at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab. Center of Paducah.

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Norma loved animals especially her dog, Fred and her Amazon Parrott, Sadie. She was a very good cook and enjoyed decorating her home especially at Christmas. She liked potted flowers, pink and purple violets were her favorite along with hydrangeas.

Norma is survived by her husband, Rex G. Lynn, Sr. of Paducah, KY; daughter, Nancy Buchanan of Paducah, KY; son, Gerald Lynn and wife Karen Sue Lynn of Kevil, KY; sister, Lou LeNeave of Paducah, KY; brother, Duard Johnson of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Susan Reed, Amy Kight, Jessica Garnett, and Jennifer English; great grandchildren, Max Reed, Tanner Kight, and Ellis Garnett and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Johnson and Acie Johnson. Her parents were Raymond Johnson and Myrtle Tucker Johnson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. F. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
