PADUCAH, KY - Willie Lester Harris, 90, of Kevil, KY passed away at 4:00 a.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Superior Care Home.
Lester was a retired Electrician for Tennessee Valley Authority. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of electrical Workers Union Local # 816. He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church, Grahamville Masonic Lodge # 707 F & AM, and the Scottish Rites. He served in the U. S. Air Force during world War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Helen Barnard Harris of Kevil, KY; sons, William Lester Harris, Jr. of Kevil, KY and David Thomas Harris and wife Cindy of Mayfield, KY; grandchildren, Sherri Ann Harris and Brooke Wiles; great grandchildren, Chase Johnson and Ty Wiles and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon Harris and Mattie Belle Workman Harris, three sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Tucker and the Rev. Skip Parsons officiating.
