sadie smithMUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Sadie Beth Smith, 17, of Drakesboro, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:17AM at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Sadie was born June 13, 1994 in Muhlenberg County. She attended Muhlenberg County High School and was a cheerleader. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and she loved her youth group at the church.

Survivors include her parents, Brian and April Smith of Drakesboro; sister Hannah Smith of Drakesboro; grandfather Sammy (Tonya) Smith of Rosewood; grandmother Freda Vancil of Paducah; grandfather Richard Wilson of Drakesboro; grandmother Ella Tolle of Drakesboro; great-grandmother Ella Kirby of Greenville; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 2:30PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating, assisted by Rev. Travis Fox. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery in Drakesboro. Visitation will be Tuesday after 10:00AM at the funeral home.
