CENTRAL CITY, KY - Cecil Rhea McElvain Hanson, 90, of Central City, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 7:30PM at Maple Manor Nursing Home. Ms. Hanson was born March 9, 1921 in Muhlenberg County.

She was a waitress at 76 Truck Stop in Calument, Illinois, and attended Nelson Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Darla DiBenedetto of Elmhurst, Illinois and Beverly Sumner of Central City; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 12:00noon at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Donnie Wilkins officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
