Stephen Blair Mercer, 61 of Greenville, KY

mercerGREENVILLE, KY - Stephen Blair Mercer, 61 of Greenville, KY died suddenly Tuesday afternoon March 6, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at his home.  Steve was born January 18, 1951 in Greenville, Ky. the son of Denford Walton Mercer and Lorine Bethel Mercer. He was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted University of Kentucky Basketball fan.   He worked for Wettereau and Supervalu and was a retired Teamster.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings, Donald Mercer, W. T. Mercer, Virginia Mae Mercer, Jerry Mercer, Richard (Dicky) Mercer, Brenda Sue Dukes, Lorrie Word, and Gilbert Mercer.

He is survived by
Son Stephen Dewayne Mercer of Murfreesboro, Tn.
Grandson Blake Mercer of Greenville, Ky.
Granddaughter Kaleigh Mercer of Greenville, Ky.
Brother Troy Mercer of Greenville, Ky.
3 sisters Jean (Reggie) Long of Newburgh, In.
Regina Donovan of DeMotte, In.
Shelia  (Bill) Daniel of Greenville, Ky.
Several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted Friday March 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. by Rev. Jerry Whitehouse.
