MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Jerry (Mac) McElvain, 64, of Greenville, KY passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. He was born September 25, 1947 in Cook County, IL. , was a self employed brick layer and a member of the Paradise Baptist Church in Greenville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Beatrice Young McElvain, a brother, Ronnie McElvain, step sisters, Shirley Russo, Agnes Rodakis and Georgia Danner.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Norris McElvain of Greenville, a son, Shane(Lynn)McElvain of Drakesboro, a daughter, Jerilyn(Don)Donica of Cadiz, two grandchildren, Justin(Emily)O'Neal of Nelson Creek and Paige Donica of Cadiz, two sisters, Vickie Geary and Diana(Daryl)Walker both of Powderly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City conducted by Rev. Tim Adcock with burial to follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powderly.

Visitation will be after 5:00 Tuesday and after 8:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
