Jerry Ray Stanley, 67, of Powderly

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Jerry Ray Stanley, 67, of Powderly, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10:45AM at Commonwealth Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.

Mr. Stanley was born March 22, 1945 in Muhlenberg County. He was a loader at S & S Stave Mill and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Groves; son Edward Piper; and grandchild Dakota Ryan Stanley.

Survivors include his significant other, Judy Piper of Powderly; children Shelia (Louis) Colburn of Central City, Judy (David) Snyder of Greenville, Jerry (Donna) Stanley, Jr. of Browder, Sabrina Whittaker of Drakesboro, Brenda (Kenny) Robertson of Central City, Scottie (Jackie) Piper of Powderly, and Crystal (Kelly) Bratcher; brothers Bill (Ann) Stanley, Freddie Stanley, Timmy Stanley, and Terry (Karen) Stanley; sisters Karen (J.C.) Pointer and Hazel Stanley; 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Travis Fox officiating. Burial in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
