Mary Lottie Scott, 89 of Greenville, KY

maryscottGREENVILLE, KY - Mary Lottie Scott, 89 of Greenville, KY passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 7:40 p.m. at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY after a lengthy illness.

Lottie was born June 12, 1923 in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of Bill Henry Whitaker and Laura Williams Whitaker.  She retired from General Electric in Owensboro, KY after 17 years and she was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church Depoy, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billie Andrew Scott, brothers Jesse Whitaker and Frankie Whitaker, and  sister Maudie Garris.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon July 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, KY by Rev. Tommy Drury with burial to follow in Vernal Grove Cemetery in Depoy, KY.

Lottie is survived by 1 son Douglas Wayne (Lisa) Caskey of Madisonville, KY; 3 grandchildren: Kevin Douglas Caskey, Christa Lea (Chuck) Wells, and Whitney Nicole Caskey; 3 great-grandchildren: Ariel Wells, Caleb Wells, and Chloe Wells; brother Johnny Whitaker of Shelbyville, TN.

Friends may call Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home Inc. in Greenville, KY and After 11:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time.  Online condolences to the family can be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
