MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - William Ray Hunt, 67, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro. He was born October 2, 1945 in Logan Co., was a sawmill worker and of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Marshall Hunt, his mother, Ellvenia Arnold Hunt, and two sisters, Rita Faye Callahan and Barbara Hunt.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Scott Hunt of Greenville, a son, Carl(Lisa)Hunt of West Field, IN., two daughters, Crystal(Mike)Russ of Drakesboro and Stephanie(Matt)Shemwell of Bremen, nine grandchildren, Britny Russ, Kayla Russ, Cassidy Hunt, Valerie Miller, Heather Hunt, Isaac Shemwell, Wyatt Shemwell, Kanan Shemwell and Kirsten Shemwell, a sister, Wanda(Chris)Buchanan of Dunmor, three nephews, Charlie Buchanan, John Buchanan and Cody Buchanan and two nieces, Jessica Fleming and Laura Pearson.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City conducted by Rev. Mike DeArmond. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City in charge of arrangements.
