GREENVILLE, Ky - Bonnie Brooks Edwards, 90, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Belle Meade Home. She was born in Muhlenberg County January 9, 1923 the daughter of Eddie Maurice Brooks and Lennie Ellen Brooks. She was a member of Powderly Baptist Church. She was a custodian for First Baptist Church in Greenville, KY retiring in 1981 after ten years.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY by Reverend Larry Fitzhugh. Burial will be held in Woodland Cemetery, Greenville, KY.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelia (Doug) Jackson of Greenville, KY two grandchildren, Gina Jackson and Tony (Krystal) Jackson, two great grandchildren, Annabell and Alyssa Jackson, one brother, Vinyard (Ethel) Brooks, and two sisters, Mary Dunn Steele and Ruby Nell (Hillman) Davis.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 between 5-8 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville and on Sunday, after 11:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center, 615 Opportunity Way, Greenville, KY 42345, in memory of their loved one.
