Glen Norman Pendley, 82, of Drakesboro, KY

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Glen Norman Pendley, 82, of Drakesboro, KY passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 1:20AM at his home. Mr. Pendley was born June 16, 1930 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and member of Riverside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorthy Pendley; son David Michael Pendley; brothers Paul Pendley, Carl Pendley, Ralph Pendley, Gene Pendley, and Albert Pendley; sisters Olive Smith, Golden Sampson, Carmel Kimbley, and Opal Pendley; granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Pendley; one unborn grandchild; and one unborn great-grandchild.

Survivors include his sons, Jimmy (Karen) Pendley and Dewayne (Tonya) Pendley; daughters Shelia (Randy) Johnson, Donna (Ted) Knight, and Tina (Todd) Cartwright; grandchildren Donica Nein, Derek Gill, Tamara Golden, Nathan, Brandon, and Rob Johnson, Tally Rogles, Tagan and Jesse Knight, Jon Pendley, Karena Scoggin, Kandra, Karissa, and Kaylee Pendley, and Thad, Tia, Taeh, and Talan Cartwright; and great-grandchildren Tanner and Tate Golden, Warren, Ashton, and Kameryn Nein, Makenna and Kyler Gill, Hunter and Whitney Johnson, Kaylin and Camdon Scoggin, Eli and Lily Pendley, and Ace Rogles.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2:00PM at Riverside Baptist Church, with Rev. Ron Noffsinger officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 4:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Mr. Pendley will lie in state at Riverside Baptist Church on Friday from 11:00AM - 2:00PM.
