vergMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky - Vergie E. Reisinger, 89 of Owensboro, KY formerly of Lexington, KY died Saturday morning February 23, 2013 in Owensboro, KY at the Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 30, 1924 in Crittenden County, KY and graduated from Mattoon High School in Crittenden County, KY in 1941. During World War II she worked as a “Rosie the Riveter.”  She was active as a troop leader in Girl Scouts and the Rhythm Rounds Dance Club. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Lexington, KY and current member of the Greenville United Methodist Church in Greenville, KY. She was a member of Warm-Up America.  

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:00 am from Gary’s Funeral Home by Reverend Gregg Tate.  Burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, KY. 

She is survived by:
     Her husband of 65 years, Jack W. Reisinger of Owensboro, KY
     Two Daughters
         Martha R. (Dale) Berger of Evansville, IN
         Rhonda R. (Keith) BeLiles of Greenville, KY
     Six Grandsons
         Bryan (Chrissy) Berger of Columbus, OH
         Brandon (Tiffany) Berger of Columbus, OH
         Brad Berger of Birmingham, AL
         Chase BeLiles of Greenville, KY
         Chance (Kayla) BeLiles of Louisville, KY
         Shane BeLiles of Central City, KY
     Four Great Grandchildren
         Quincy BeLiles, Jacob BeLiles, Avaleigh BeLiles, Reis Berger
     One Sister
         Grace Blair of Owensboro, KY

Friends may call on Monday, February 25, 2013 between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY and on Tuesday, after 10:00 am. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
