Linda Faye Hardison, 74 of Greenville, Ky

226MUHLENBEERG COUNTY, KY - Linda Faye Hardison, 74 of Greenville, Ky. died Tuesday morning February 26, 2013 at 4:25 a.m. in Baptist  Hospital Madisonville, Ky. after a sudden illness.  She was born Mar 16, 1938 in Greenville, Ky.  the daughter of Orvel Newman and Mary Nell Murphy Newman. She was a Graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor and Master Degree and she attended Second Baptist Church in Greenville, Ky. She owned and operated Lone Star Oil and Gas inc. and was an English Teach for 27 years for the Muhlenberg County Board of Education. She was Preceded in death by her parents, Husband of 50 years Ronald G. Hardison  who died 4-24-2006, and brother Wayne Newman.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday afternoon February 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. by  Rev. Bobby Hardison with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Greenville, Ky.

She is survived by
Son Dr. Barry  Hardison of Greenville, Ky.
Daughter Cindy Hardison of Greenville, Ky.
3 grandchildren Dusty (Kayce) Miller of Greenville, Ky.
Jordan Hardison of Greenville, Ky.
Destyn Miller of Greenville, Ky
1 great-grandchild Piper Miller
2 brothers Bill (Nancy) Newman of Greenville, Ky.
Jeff (Kendra) Newman of Greenville, Ky.
Sister Teresa (Lynn) Tucker of South Carrolton, Ky.
Several nieces and nephews

Friends may call Thursday morning February 28, 2013 after 11:00 a.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. until Funeral Time.  Online condolences to  the family can be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
